TAG Heuer on Screen : Bourne Ultimatum

Matt Damon returns as Jason Bourne for the latest showdown in "The Bourne Ultimatum". In the follow-up to 2002’s "The Bourne Identity" and 2004’s "The Bourne Supremacy"-the smash hits that have grossed over $500 million at the global box office-acclaimed director Paul Greengrass joins returning cast members Julia Stiles and Joan Allen and new additions David Strathairn, Edgar Ramirez and Paddy Considine.

The film continues the saga of rogue agent Jason Bourne who never wanted more than to disappear but instead is hunted by the people of the CIA that made him the assassin he is today.

Now, in the final chapter of the espionage series, Bourne will hunt down his past in order to find his future. Still suffering from amnesia and determined to finally learn of his true identity he will have to travel from Moscow to Madrid to Paris and London to Tangier and New York all the while trying to evade, outsmart, and outmanoeuvre the deadliest scores of highly trained federal officers and Interpol agents.

In a world of uncertainty, quest for truth, turn-coat agents and ever-shifting covert alliances, the only constant is the reliability of his TAG Heuer Link Chronograph with blue dial that Bourne wears throughout this exciting trilogy.

In addition to a unique expertise in measuring the tiniest fraction of time, TAG Heuer’s LINK Chronograph sophisticated and timelessly chic design was an obvious match with Jason Bourne’s character.

Handsome and sophisticated-looking, this watch has a round silver-white dial with luminous diamond-polished nickel hands, hand-applied hour markers, and Arabic numerals to 24 on the flange for twin time function. A date window resides at the 3 o'clock position. Other notable features include the sweep seconds hand and the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The watch presents on a black crocodile strap and fastens with a polished steel push button fold-over-clasp. It is water resistant to 30 meters.

About TAG Heuer
TAG Heuer traces its roots to the small Swiss village of St-Imier where, in 1860, a watchmaker named Edouard Heuer opened his first shop. His vision was to create remarkable timepieces that pushed the envelope of innovation and precision. The company's reputation grew and Heuer's first patent for a chronograph mechanism in 1882 was followed by a long list of achievements: the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars, the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/1000th of a second, and the first automatic movement with a microrotor, to name just a few. Over the years, Heuer's reputation for gold-standard precision earned the company the privilege of providing official timing services for a number of world-class competitive sporting events, including the Olympic Games, the FIS Ski World Cup, and the FIA Formula 1 World Championships. To this day, TAG Heuer maintains a close association with the world of competitive sports and enjoys a devoted following among sports celebrities and enthusiasts. In 1985, Heuer joined the TAG (Techniques D'Avant-Garde) group, and the TAG Heuer name and logo were created. Now one of the most recognized and sought-after watch brands in the world, TAG Heuer continues its reputation of innovative design and technological excellence, creating prestigious timepieces that are always at the cutting edge of precision, reliability and style.
